2019 District Deputy Grand Master for Virginia Masonic District 2
I strongly believe in the adage that states you get out of freemasonry what you put into it. I advocate for active participation to increase fellowship with your brethren and to enhance your knowledge of the craft.
I am an enthusiastic member of the Alexandria Scottish Rite Stage Crew. They are a great bunch of guys who work hard and play hard. We are constantly brainstorming on what new special effects we can bring to the stage. And no one has had their eyebrows singed off! (yet!)
I also believe that Freemasonry needs to get out in the community more and involve families. I would like to see us get back to the time where most folks viewed a masonic lodge as one of the pillars of the community. To that end, we participate in blood drives, do rest stops for American Diabetes Association Tour de Cure, and march in Parades (you may have seen us in the Leesburg Halloween Parade where we march in costume as the Stonecutters from the Simpsons )
